Job Description

The Quality Specialist role is responsible for the alignment of quality strategy with business goals. Acts as an advocate for the customer in terms of requirements, feedback, customer satisfaction, and loyalty. Takes care of ‘create’ process tailoring, establishes and maintains quality assurance guidelines and translates them into policies, procedures and methods to check services, products, materials, components and improve same. Ensures that last-mentioned are in compliance with organization's quality standards as well as other standards and regulations in accordance with the Nokia quality policy. Reviews and evaluates processes from diverse performance dimensions (speed, cost, efficiency, reliability, utilization, value) and aligns with business targets accordingly. Derives, designs, and implements process improvements and ensures complying with company quality standards and regulations.

  • Develop and implement quality strategies, policies, and processes aligned with business goals and Nokia quality standards. 
  • Act as the voice of the customer by driving initiatives that improve customer satisfaction, quality performance, and service excellence. 
  • Monitor, evaluate, and improve processes across key performance dimensions including efficiency, reliability, cost, speed, and value. 
  • Lead quality planning, assurance, control, risk management, and continuous improvement initiatives across engineering and operational functions. 
  • Ensure compliance with internal quality requirements, industry standards, regulatory obligations, and organizational policies. 
  • Provide guidance, mentorship, and quality expertise to cross-functional teams while promoting best practices and capability development. 
  • Analyze complex quality issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions to improve business outcomes.

Must Have:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Telecommunications, or a related discipline.
  • 8 plus years of experience in Quality Management, Quality Assurance, Process Excellence, or Engineering Quality functions.
  • Expertise in quality management systems, process improvement methodologies, and continuous improvement practices.
  • Proficient analytical, problem-solving, stakeholder management, and communication skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with quality frameworks and methodologies such as ISO 9001, Lean, Six Sigma, or similar standards.


Nice to Have:

  • Exposure to telecommunications, networking, software engineering, or technology product development environments.
  • Exposure in leading quality audits, compliance assessments, and process governance activities.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in global, multicultural environments with a collaborative and customer-focused mindset.
