Project Manager - Lansing, MI

We are seeking an experienced Application Development Associate to design, build, test, and support new and existing software applications, including mobile applications for child support. The role will develop application modules, provide production support, and collaborate with Application Architects, Business Analysts, and technical teams to deliver reliable and scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Design, build, and test application programs, including new development and enhancements.

Provide production support, including issue analysis, bug fixes, testing, and production deployments.

Collaborate with Application Architects and Business Analysts to validate functional and technical designs.

Develop and maintain technical documentation and participate in design reviews.

Analyze requirements, code, and test simple to moderately complex application modules.

Apply strong technical, industry, and domain knowledge to project activities.

Contribute to continuous improvement of coding practices, system performance, and team processes.

Required Skills & Technologies

5+ years of Java – Strong object-oriented programming and enterprise application development experience.

5+ years of Spring Boot – Experience developing RESTful APIs and scalable applications.

5+ years of Angular – Experience developing responsive single-page web applications.

5+ years of SQL – Strong SQL query development and experience with relational databases.

Preferred Experience

Experience with Agile development methodologies.

Exposure to CI/CD tools and Git/version control systems.

Understanding of secure coding practices and application performance tuning.

Experience supporting Child Support applications, programs, or initiatives.
