Senior Manufacturing Engineer (Digital Manufacturing & MBSE)

Overview
Join a collaborative engineering team focused on developing and optimizing advanced manufacturing solutions for complex hardware systems. This role combines manufacturing engineering, systems engineering, and digital manufacturing to improve production efficiency, quality, and scalability.
Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize manufacturing processes, tooling, production layouts, and work instructions.
• Support digital manufacturing initiatives using 3D model-based environments and MBSE practices.
• Drive automation, robotics, and continuous improvement efforts to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
• Apply Systems Engineering principles, including requirements flow-down, verification, and validation (V&V).
• Analyze manufacturing and production data to improve quality, throughput, and operational performance.
• Partner with design, quality, and production teams to ensure manufacturability and program success.
• Lead process improvement initiatives and provide technical guidance across cross-functional teams.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Electrical, Systems Engineering, or related STEM field.
• 5+ years of Manufacturing Engineering experience in aerospace, defense, aviation, space, or high-tech manufacturing.
• 5+ years of Systems Engineering experience, including requirements management and V&V activities.
• Experience leading technical initiatives and influencing cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with MBSE/MBE methodologies and tools.
• Knowledge of SysML, Cameo, MagicDraw, or similar modeling tools.
• Experience with Digital Manufacturing, Automation, Robotics, SPC, Data Analytics, or Smart Factory initiatives.
• Familiarity with CAD/PLM tools such as CATIA, NX, SolidWorks, Teamcenter, or Windchill.
