Systems Engineer II with Security Clearance

Information Systems Solutions (ISS) is seeking a candidate with RedHat OpenShift administrator experience to oversee the health, performance, and stability of OpenShift clusters and support a team delivering custom applications for the U.S. Government. We are looking for a professional with relevant experience and a desire to work as part of a small, agile team supporting existing applications. This role offers a strong opportunity to expand technical skills while making a meaningful impact on U.S. Government efforts. This position is 100% onsite.

Specific duties include, but are not limited to: · Deploy and manage Red Hat OpenShift clusters for on-premises environments. · Monitor cluster health and performance while troubleshooting and fixing node or application errors. · Configure security settings, user access rules, and network policies to protect the cluster. · Perform regular updates, software patches, and system backups to keep the platform stable. Required Skills

• 1+ year of proven experience managing and deploying OpenShift environments
• 3-5 years of proven experience with Linux administration and in-depth knowledge of Kubernetes
• Bachelor’s degree in quantitative fields such as engineering or mathematics (e.g. Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or Information Systems) or years of experience

Desired Skills

• Proficient in OpenShift and Rancher
• Kubernetes fundamentals
• Linux administration (especially RHEL)
• Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) experience
