£28,000 basic salary + commission - Permanent Telesales / office-based

Are you an experienced automotive sales professional with strong knowledge of vehicle funding?

We're recruiting for a Vehicle Sales Account Manager to join an established automotive sales operation, working with customers to source and fund cars and light commercial vehicles.

This is a telephone-based sales and account management role where building relationships, understanding customer requirements and converting opportunities into sales will be central to your success.

Knowledge of vehicle funding is paramount. You'll need to confidently discuss the different ways customers can fund cars and vans, understand their requirements and guide them towards the most appropriate options.

Key responsibilities

- Managing vehicle sales enquiries by telephone

- Building and developing relationships with new and existing customers

- Understanding vehicle and funding requirements

- Sourcing suitable vehicles to meet customer needs

- Discussing vehicle funding options confidently and professionally

- Converting enquiries into completed sales

- Proactively following up leads and developing future opportunities

- Managing your own customer pipeline and accounts

- Working towards individual and team sales targets

- Delivering excellent customer service throughout the sales process

What we're looking for

- Previous automotive sales experience

- Strong knowledge of vehicle funding

- Experience selling cars, vans, leasing, contract hire or vehicle finance

- Confident telephone sales and account management skills

- Strong closing and objection-handling ability

- Excellent relationship-building skills

- Commercially driven and comfortable working to targets

- Organised approach to managing customers, leads and follow-ups

This could suit someone currently working as a Car Sales Executive, Van Sales Executive, LCV Sales Executive, Leasing Sales Executive, Contract Hire Sales Executive, Vehicle Finance Sales Executive or Automotive Account Manager.

Salary: From £28,000 basic + commission
