Project Manager – Semi-Technical

Job Summary

We are looking for a Semi-Technical Project Manager who can manage projects from planning through delivery while effectively coordinating with technical teams, business stakeholders, and leadership.

The ideal candidate should have strong Project Management fundamentals, stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills, along with a good understanding of IT/technical environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage projects from initiation through successful delivery.

• Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, milestones, and deliverables.

• Coordinate with technical teams, business teams, vendors, and other stakeholders.

• Track project progress, dependencies, risks, issues, and action items.

• Conduct regular project status meetings and provide updates to stakeholders.

• Prepare and present project status reports to management and leadership.

• Ensure clear communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Identify project risks and work with appropriate teams to develop mitigation plans.

• Follow up with team members to ensure tasks and deliverables are completed on time.

• Coordinate cross-functional teams and manage project dependencies.

• Maintain project documentation, meeting minutes, action items, and status reports.

• Support Agile/Scrum ceremonies and project governance activities.

• Work closely with technical teams to understand project requirements, issues, and dependencies.

• Escalate critical risks and issues to appropriate stakeholders in a timely manner.

• Ensure projects are delivered within agreed timelines, scope, and quality expectations.

Required Skills

• Strong experience in Project Management and end-to-end project delivery.

• Strong Stakeholder Management and stakeholder coordination skills.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong presentation and executive communication skills.

• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Good understanding of IT/Software Development environments.

• Experience working with Jira and/or Confluence.

• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working in a technical/IT project environment.

• Understanding of SDLC, application development, infrastructure, cloud, or integration projects.

• Experience with project reporting and executive presentations.

• Experience managing project risks, issues, dependencies, and action items.

• Experience working with distributed/global teams.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is not required to be a hands-on developer or engineer. However, they should be technically comfortable enough to understand technical discussions, coordinate effectively with engineering teams, identify project dependencies, and communicate technical project status clearly to business stakeholders and leadership.
