About the Role

Teys Australia is seeking an experienced andteam-orientedIT Infrastructure Engineerto join ourIT Infrastructure team,based atGroup Support Services in EightMile Plains, Brisbane. This pivotal position is responsible for developingand maintaining Teys' enterprise IT environment, as well as delivering ITsolutions and services across the group.

Reporting to ourIT Infrastructure Manager, the successful candidate will ensure that IT systems are available, reliable and scalable while coordinating their operational performance in line with businessrequirements. The role involves diagnosing and troubleshooting networking,hardware and software disruptions in parallel with improving efficiency throughautomation.

Additionally, this position will maintain a robust serverinfrastructure - including cloud environments- and will participate indifferent projects across remote facilities.

About You

It isessentialthat you have thefollowing experience/skills:

  • Bachelor'sDegree or higher in Information Technology, Computer Science, or relateddiscipline.
  • Experiencein an IT infrastructure or similar role
  • Highlyself-motivated and directed with a proactive approach to problem solving
  • Understandingof IT security principles, including system hardening, identitymanagement, and patch management.
  • Experiencewith some of the following technology domains:
  • Networking(LAN, WIFI, SD-WAN, firewalls, VPNs).
  • OperationalTechnology (SCADA, PLC, IoT, Industrial Ethernet / CPwE)
  • Servervirtualisation and hyperconverged infrastructure (Vmware ESXi, vSAN,Nutanix).
  • CiscoCatalyst and Cisco Meraki networking hardware and configuration.
  • MicrosoftWindows Server technologies including Active Directory, Group Policy,Remote Desktop, Always-On VPN.
  • AmazonAWS cloud services (EC2, Elastic Beanstalk, IAM, S3, Route53, Lambda)
  • Microsoft365 and teams administration.
  • Backupand disaster recovery technologies (Veeam, Zerto, Nutanix, CloudProtection Manager)
  • Endpointmanagement (Microsoft Intune, Puppet, Chocolatey)
  • Experienceworking in food processing or manufacturing industries.
  • Relevantcertifications (Cisco CCNA/CCNP/ECMS, ITIL Foundation).
