Maintenance Engineer

Mansfield

Salary: £50,000

4 on 4 off days/nights (12 hour shifts)

Are you an experienced Maintenance Engineer looking for your next challenge within a busy manufacturing environment?

Our client is a well established manufacturing company based in Mansfield who are looking to appoint a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their established engineering team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an engineer who enjoys fault finding, problem solving and keeping production running efficiently.

The Role

Working as part of the engineering team, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving a range of production machinery and equipment.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance.
  • Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults.
  • Responding to breakdowns quickly and effectively to minimise production downtime.
  • Carrying out fault finding and root cause analysis.
  • Supporting machinery improvements, modifications and installations.
  • Maintaining accurate maintenance records.
  • Working closely with production teams to maximise equipment reliability and availability.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve machinery performance and reduce recurring faults.
  • Ensuring all maintenance activities are carried out safely and in line with company procedures.
  • Supporting a strong culture of continuous improvement across the site.
About You

We are looking for a practical and proactive Maintenance Engineer who enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

You will ideally have:

  • Previous experience in a Maintenance Engineer role within manufacturing.
  • Strong mechanical and/or electrical maintenance experience.
  • Experience with PPM, breakdown maintenance and fault finding.
  • Good problem solving and diagnostic skills.
  • Injection moulding experience is a must
