Role: Salesforce Program Manager(Workforce Management)

Location: Charlotte, NC (preferred), St. Louis, MO

Duration: 6-month base contract (long-term extensions)

Reason for opening: new high-priority project - salesforce workforce management - they are migrating to salesforce to change the way work is assigned out to technicians

 

Job Description:
Provide end-to-end ownership of the Salesforce Workforce Management (WFM) roadmap, ensuring business priorities are translated into executable plans, milestones, and measurable outcomes.

Coordinate dependencies across Product, Field Operations, Salesforce engineering, architecture, data, integrations, security, QA, and external partners.

Establish consistent governance across multiple epics by managing priorities, scope, capacity, risks, decisions, and delivery commitments.

Drive release readiness across development, testing, user acceptance, deployment, training, and post-launch support to reduce operational disruption.

Provide leadership with clear visibility into progress, resource constraints, delivery risks, and decisions requiring escalation.

 

Day-to-day work:

· Maintain the program roadmap and Jira backlog, ensuring epics have clear scope, owners, dependencies, acceptance criteria, and target dates.

· Lead planning sessions, status meetings, dependency reviews, and risk discussions while tracking decisions and following up on action items.

· Partner with business and technical teams to resolve requirements, prioritize work, manage scope changes, and remove delivery blockers.

· Coordinate test readiness, UAT, deployment planning, change management, training, hypercare, and operational handoff activities.

· Prepare leadership updates and delivery dashboards covering milestone progress, capacity, risks, issues, decisions, and overall program health.
