Senior Low-Voltage / Technology Integration Technician

Key Responsibilities
Lead installations and commissioning on commercial and residential projects.
Read plans, wiring diagrams, scopes of work, and project specifications.
Configure, test, troubleshoot, and document complete systems.
Diagnose networking, WiFi, security, AV, automation, and low-voltage issues.
Interact professionally with homeowners, business customers, general contractors, electricians, and project managers.
Maintain organized, clean, and safe job sites.
Mentor junior technicians and provide technical leadership in the field.
Complete labeling, testing, photographs, documentation, and project closeout requirements.

Qualifications
5+ years of relevant experience in low-voltage, AV, networking, security, automation, structured cabling, or technology integration.
Strong understanding of IP networking, WiFi, Ethernet, PoE, and low-voltage installation practices.
Ability to independently troubleshoot systems and develop practical field solutions.
Customer-facing professionalism and strong communication skills.
Valid driver's license and ability to travel throughout Southeast Michigan.
Manufacturer certifications or training in Control4, Savant, Crestron, UniFi, Lutron, security, AV, or related technologies
