If you're a qualified Dispensing Optician who loves patient care but wants something beyond the same practice every day, our Pulse Team could be exactly what you're looking for.
As a Mobile Dispensing Optician, you'll support Leightons practices across Surrey and the surrounding area, bringing your expertise, personality and patient-first approach wherever you're needed.
No two days are the same. One week you could be supporting a busy flagship practice, the next helping a smaller community store deliver an exceptional patient experience. You'll meet new colleagues, work with a wide range of patients and enjoy all the variety that comes with being part of our specialist Pulse Team.
What is the Pulse Team?
Think of Pulse as the heartbeat of Leightons.
Our Pulse Dispensing Opticians provide support across the business, covering holidays, supporting additional clinics and helping practices when extra expertise is needed.
You'll work within a pre-agreed travel radius of up to 90 minutes from your home address, giving you the freedom of a mobile role without unexpected long-distance travel.
To support your mobility, you'll receive either a company car or travel allowance, making it easy to move between our unique and beautifully individual practices.

We're looking for someone who combines clinical expertise with a genuine passion for people.
You'll be:
A fully qualified and GOC-registered Dispensing Optician
Passionate about delivering outstanding patient care
A confident communicator who builds trust naturally
Customer-focused and consultative in your approach
Adaptable and comfortable working in different practices
Organised, proactive and professional
In possession of a full UK driving licence
