Community Manager – AI Startup

Location: San Francisco, CA | On-site

Hellyeah AI is a fast-growing AI-first company building AI-native products that help businesses grow through intelligent automation and cutting-edge technology.

We're looking for a Community Manager to help grow our community, strengthen our brand presence, and connect with the AI and startup ecosystem in San Francisco.

We're looking for someone who is highly organized, resourceful, quick-thinking, and thrives in a fast-paced startup environment.

Responsibilities

  • Build and manage relationships with AI founders, developers, creators, and startup communities.

  • Plan and execute community events, meetups, networking sessions, and other engagement initiatives.

  • Manage community communications across platforms such as Slack, Discord, LinkedIn, and other relevant channels.

  • Support brand awareness, community growth, and partnership initiatives.

  • Coordinate multiple projects, events, and stakeholders while ensuring timely execution.

  • Collaborate with marketing, product, and leadership teams to drive community engagement.

  • Track community performance, gather feedback, and continuously improve engagement strategies.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in community management, marketing, events, operations, or related roles.

  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with excellent time management and multitasking skills.

  • Ability to perform well under pressure, manage competing priorities, and deliver results in a fast-changing environment.

  • Smart, proactive, and a fast learner, with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to figure things out independently.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and confidence in building relationships with diverse groups of people.

  • High ownership, strong execution skills, and a hands-on mindset.

  • Based in San Francisco and available to work on-site.

Nice to Have

  • Experience working at an AI startup or early-stage technology company.

  • Familiarity with the San Francisco AI, tech, and startup ecosystem.

  • Experience organizing tech events, hackathons, meetups, or founder communities.

  • Active involvement in AI communities or strong interest in emerging AI technologies.

  • Experience using AI tools to improve workflows, content creation, or community operations.
