Job Description

About Mariana Minerals

Mariana Minerals is a software-first, vertically integrated minerals company on a mission to supply the critical minerals powering modern energy, AI, and defense technologies. We’re reimagining the minerals supply chain by combining deep industry expertise with advanced software, automation, and data-driven decision-making.

The Role

Mariana Minerals is looking for an architect to work on building the critical minerals supply chain.

As an architect at Mariana Minerals, you will lead the architectural design of commercial and industrial buildings and assets from requirements definition through concept design and construction support.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop architectural concepts and designs in collaboration with other disciplines.

  • Produce architectural specifications, drawings, and reports both directly and with the support of designers.

  • Collaborate with designers, engineering, and construction to develop efficient and effective designs.

  • Be responsible for the development of safe architectural designs.

  • Work as part of teams, managing or being managed by others as required for each project.

  • Serve as architect of record for some projects (for licensed candidates).

  • Lead or support permitting processes with Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJ).

  • Participate in project planning and scheduling activities and deliver to project deadlines.

  • Develop and implement discipline-specific practices and procedures to improve productivity and efficiency.

  • Actively engage in development of Mariana’s internal software tools.

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in architecture or equivalent experience.

  • 7+ years of professional experience.

  • Knowledge of building codes and architectural project deliverables.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline-driven environment.

  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, manage competing priorities, and deliver high-quality engineering packages under schedule constraints.

Preferred

  • Licensed architect in any U.S. state.

  • Mining, mineral processing, metallurgical, chemical, or heavy industrial facility experience.

  • Proficiency in 2D and/or 3D design software such as AutoCAD and Revit with knowledge of rendering tools being a bonus.

Our culture is built on four principles:

Everyone Gets Home Safe. We never put speed or cost ahead of people.

Extreme Ownership. We take full responsibility for outcomes, relentlessly driving toward solutions.

Engineer Out Requirements, then Automate. We simplify, optimize, and then automate for scale.

Share Your Legos. We collaborate openly, share knowledge, and empower each other to build bigger, better solutions.

Join us as we build the future of responsible mineral sourcing and supply!
