The Role • Assemble steel structures for medium, high, and ultra-high voltage substations (up to 380kV). • Install high and medium voltage equipment and electrical systems, including associated hardware. • Perform assembly and disassembly of bolted and pressed connections, as well as pipe and cable mounting. • Mark up plan documents with revisions from site work. • Contribute to the successful implementation of new construction and modernization projects. What You'll Need • Completed vocational training as a locksmith, metalworker, industrial mechanic, construction mechanic, plant mechanic, or a comparable qualification. • Previous experience in locksmithing, preferably within construction, mechanical engineering, energy technology, or the metal processing industry. • Experience with electrical systems is advantageous. • A valid driver's license (Class B) and the willingness to travel to project sites with a personal vehicle. • Readiness for regular travel and overnight stays for projects throughout West Germany from Monday to Friday. • Good German language skills and a self-motivated, responsible work approach.
