Belong are an innovative not for profit provider of person centred care for older people; specialising in dementia care. As we enter a period of growth and expansion there has never been a better time to join us! We have an exciting opportunity to join our team in Belong Chester.

What you will be doing… You’ll be working in one of our households with a warm, friendly team as a Team Senior Carer Working in Belong Chester you can make a real impact to the lives of older people; giving them the support to continue to live independently by providing excellent personal centred care.

You will carry out a variety of duties including:

  • Personal care
  • Medication management
  • Cooking
  • Dementia care
  • Deputise for the Team Leader.
  • Uploading day to day details on care plans

Required Qualifications

  • Level 2 or above in Health and Social Care.
  • Experience supporting older adults in a dementia care setting.
  • Experience administering and recording medication accurately, along with updating care plans and daily resident records.
  • Eligible to work in the UK and able to commute to Chester within around 30 minutes.
  • Must not require visa sponsorship, and must have at least 6 months remaining on current right-to-work permission in the UK.
  • Available to work 8-3, 3-10, and occasional long-day shifts, including alternate weekends on both Saturday and Sunday.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience leading shifts and deputising for the Team Leader.
  • Experience completing staff appraisals and supervisions.
  • Experience completing safeguarding forms and reporting safeguarding concerns.
