IT Logistics Associate

RESPONSIBILITIES

Kforce has a client seeking a IT Logistics Associate in Miami, FL (Florida).

Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Logistics Associate to support shipping, inventory, and supply chain operations. This role is responsible for coordinating shipments, maintaining inventory accuracy, working with carriers and suppliers, and ensuring products are delivered efficiently and on time. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and has strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate domestic and international shipments, ensuring timely delivery of products
• Prepare and process shipping documentation, including bills of lading, invoices, and packing lists
• Monitor inventory levels, track shipments, and maintain accurate inventory records
• Communicate with carriers to schedule pickups and deliveries and resolve transportation issues
• Support order fulfillment activities, including picking, packing, and preparing products for shipment
• Coordinate transportation, warehousing, and distribution activities to optimize efficiency and reduce costs
• Maintain accurate logistics data and shipping records within company systems
• Investigate and resolve shipment discrepancies, delays, and other logistics-related issues
• Ensure compliance with shipping regulations, safety requirements, and hazardous material guidelines when applicable
• Generate reports and analyze logistics performance metrics to identify improvement opportunities

REQUIREMENTS:

• 2-4 years of experience in logistics, shipping, warehouse operations, or supply chain management.
• Visa sponsorship is not available for this position
• Fluent in written and spoken English
• Experience with shipping software and inventory management systems
• Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to work in a shop or warehouse environment
• Frequent standing, walking, driving, and climbing
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and move up to 100 pounds with assistance
• Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and work in a noisy environment

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
