Job Description

Position     : AWS Admin / Platform Engineer : Local to Charlotte NC :  Only USA
Location     : Charlotte, NC (onsite – Local only)
Type of Job     : Contract : 12 Months
Experience    : 10+ Years

Required Skills & Technology
•    10+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure administration/engineering, with deep hands-on AWS expertise.
•    Strong proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform and/or CloudFormation).
•    Expertise in AWS networking, security, and IAM best practices.
•    Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, EKS/ECS/Kubernetes).
•    Proficiency in scripting and automation (Python, Bash, or similar).
•    Hands-on experience with configuration management using Ansible.
•    Experience with AWS Managed Workflows for Apache Airflow (MWAA) for orchestration.
•    Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, CodePipeline, or similar).
•    Strong understanding of monitoring, logging, and alerting tools (CloudWatch, Datadog, Splunk, etc.).
•    Solid understanding of security, compliance, and disaster recovery practices in enterprise cloud environments.

Preferred Qualifications
•    AWS certifications (Solutions Architect, SysOps Administrator, or DevOps Engineer – Professional).
•    Experience with hybrid or multi-cloud environments.
•    Prior experience supporting large-scale, mission-critical enterprise platforms.
•    Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
