Job Description:
We are looking for a Senior Project Manager with strong MES and Manufacturing IT experience to lead end-to-end projects involving Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).
The ideal candidate will have experience managing MES implementations, upgrades, integrations, and rollouts while coordinating IT, manufacturing, engineering, operations, and external vendors.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end planning and delivery of MES implementation and upgrade projects.
- Define project scope, objectives, timelines, deliverables, resources, and budgets.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams across IT, manufacturing, engineering, and operations.
- Track project milestones, budgets, risks, issues, and dependencies.
- Develop mitigation and corrective-action plans to keep projects on track.
- Manage relationships with MES vendors, partners, and implementation teams.
- Prepare project status reports and communicate progress to senior leadership.
- Drive change management, training, and user adoption for new or upgraded MES solutions.
- Ensure projects follow established Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies.
- Support initiatives involving shop-floor systems, Manufacturing Operations Management (MOM), and Industry 4.0 technologies.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of Project Management experience, preferably in manufacturing or industrial environments.
- Strong hands-on project management experience with MES implementations, upgrades, or rollouts.
- Experience with one or more MES platforms such as:
- Apriso
- Rockwell
- Siemens
- Ignition
- SAP ME/MII
- Strong understanding of manufacturing operations, shop-floor systems, and MOM.
- Experience managing hardware/software integrations within manufacturing environments.
- Proven experience managing large-scale technology implementations.
- Strong experience with risk, budget, timeline, vendor, and stakeholder management.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
