The Opportunity:

StaffRight Associates is recruiting for a premier manufacturing leader specializing in advanced automotive paints and coatings to secure an accomplished Quality Assurance Manager for their primary production facility in Cleveland, OH. This high-visibility leadership role places you at the forefront of driving site quality standards, advancing Quality Management Systems compliance, and fostering a proactive culture of excellence across a complex manufacturing environment. You will collaborate extensively with cross-functional leadership—including Operations, Process Engineering, Technical, and Research and Development teams—to optimize product outcomes, resolve quality challenges, and spearhead continuous improvement initiatives.

What You’ll Do:

  • Spearhead a proactive quality culture and embed Quality Management System frameworks seamlessly into daily plant operations.

  • Optimize, evolve, and sustain the site Quality Management System, certifications, procedures, and documentation.

  • Gatekeep site quality for Management of Change protocols and New Product Launches.

  • Integrate Customer Specific Requirements and Supplier Quality Manual guidelines directly into the Quality Management System.

  • Represent the facility professionally during external client and supplier site visits.

  • Direct investigations concerning client grievances, off-specification situations, Supplier Corrective Action Requests, and non-conforming materials.

  • Formulate corrective and preventive measures targeting root causes to ensure enduring operational enhancements.

  • Analyze, measure, and present comprehensive site quality metrics and performance trends.

  • Execute data-driven initiatives to elevate yield, productivity, and first-time-right capabilities.

  • Troubleshoot and support digital quality frameworks including Enterprise Resource Planning systems, Laboratory Information Management Systems, and Quality Management Software.

  • Direct the site internal audit schedule from strategic design through tactical execution.

  • Mentor, lead, and develop the quality team to cultivate total accountability and ongoing professional growth.

What You Bring:

  • Bachelors Degree in Quality Engineering, Engineering, or a related technical discipline

  • Minimum of 5+ Years of Quality Management Experience within the Automotive Industry or Advanced Manufacturing

  • Minimum of 3+ Years of People Management Experience supervising cross-functional manufacturing professionals

  • Recognized Certified Lead Auditor credentials covering International Automotive Task Force standards

  • Active Six Sigma Green Belt certification

  • Deep practical proficiency in Automotive Core Tools, Failure Mode and Effects Analysis, Statistical Process Control, Control Plans, and Advanced Product Quality Planning

  • Hands-on expertise with International Automotive Task Force 16949 compliance and Customer Specific Requirements

  • Proven capability in managing Quality Management Systems, Internal Audit Programs, and Document Control Systems

  • Working knowledge of enterprise software including Enterprise Resource Planning, Laboratory Information Management Systems, and Quality Management Software

  • Exceptional Written Communication Skills and Verbal Communication Skills

Compensation & Total Rewards:

Annual salary range of US$140,000 to US$170,000 plus a 10% bonus and an excellent benefits package including Medical, Dental, and Vision cover, matching 401(k), retirement savings, paid vacation, and holiday pay.
