Director of Service Business Development

Our client is looking for a Director of Service Business Development to lead growth across their electrical service provider in North Carolina and Virginia. This role focuses on winning new commercial, industrial, and residential accounts, expanding existing relationships, and strengthening the terms and pricing of service agreements. You will work closely with executive leadership and the service teams, and you will have real influence on how the service side of the business grows.

Director of Service Business Development Responsibilities

• Build and carry out a business development plan for commercial, industrial, and residential electrical service - Identify and win new accounts, including facility managers, property managers, general contractors, institutions, and multi-location businesses - Grow existing accounts by uncovering additional locations, maintenance needs, and service opportunities - Lead negotiation and renewal of service agreements, with a focus on pricing, contract terms, and account profitability - Track pipeline activity, lead sources, and results in the CRM and ServiceTitan with consistent follow-up - Report regularly to executive leadership on pipeline, new accounts, and business development results Director of Service Business Development Requirements:
• 10+ years of electrical industry experience - 5+ years of service experience in electrical contracting - 5+ years of business development, sales, or account management experience with a record of winning new accounts - Willingness to travel regularly across North Carolina and Virginia - Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
