Join Transport's Chief Data Office and play a leading role in strengthening enterprise data and AI risk management across critical services that support millions of journeys every day.

You will work with senior stakeholders across AI Governance, Cyber Security, Privacy, Legal and Enterprise Risk teams to help build a modern, risk-informed organisation that can confidently unlock the value of data and AI while maintaining the highest standards of assurance and compliance.

In this role, you'll:

You will work as part of a team delivering enterprise data and AI risk, compliance and assurance outcomes. Your role will see you help protect how Transport for NSW uses data by identifying risk early, strengthening controls and supporting teams to manage data safely and responsibly.
You will lead practical data and AI risk assessments and assurance activities in a large, fast moving organisation with diverse systems, stakeholders and delivery priorities.

Your strong risk judgement, problem solving and communication skills, formed across data governance, cyber security, risk, audit or compliance environments, will see you work through complex data and AI risks, influence action and embed consistent risk controls, leading to clearer accountability and improved data risk outcomes.

You're recognised as a trusted risk advisor, skilled at building relationships and applying governance frameworks, with experience in managing data risk in large or complex organisations.
