OMS Support Engineer Scottsdale - AZ - Arizona

We are seeking an experienced OMS Support Engineer to provide production and application support for Order Management Systems in a cloud-based environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform), Splunk, Linux, and SQL, along with strong troubleshooting and incident management skills.

The candidate will be responsible for monitoring application health, resolving production issues, analyzing logs, supporting order processing workflows, and ensuring system availability and business continuity.

Key Responsibilities

Provide L2L3 production support for Order Management Systems (OMS) and related applications.

Monitor application performance, system health, and order processing workflows to ensure smooth business operations.

Troubleshoot and resolve production incidents, application failures, transaction errors, and order processing issues.

Use Splunk to analyze application logs, identify error patterns, investigate incidents, and perform root cause analysis.

Support applications and services hosted on Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform).

Perform LinuxUnix troubleshooting, including log analysis, process monitoring, shell commands, and basic scripting.

Write and execute SQL queries to investigate data discrepancies, validate transactions, and troubleshoot database-related issues.

Monitor order lifecycle transactions and identify issues affecting order creation, updates, fulfillment, and status synchronization.

Collaborate with development, infrastructure, database, and business teams to resolve complex production issues.

Manage incident tickets, service requests, problem records, and change requests in accordance with SLA requirements.

Participate in production deployments, release validation, scheduled maintenance, and post-deployment monitoring.

Develop and maintain support documentation, troubleshooting guides, operational procedures, and knowledge articles.

Identify recurring incidents and recommend automation and preventive measures to improve application stability.

Participate in on-call support and production support rotations as required.

Required Skills

Hands-on experience supporting Order Management Systems (OMS) or enterprise applications.

Working knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform).

Strong experience with Splunk for log monitoring, troubleshooting, and incident analysis.

Good knowledge of LinuxUnix commands and application troubleshooting.

Strong SQL skills for data validation, querying, and troubleshooting.

Experience in production support, incident management, and root cause analysis.

Understanding of application monitoring, system integrations, and distributed application environments.

Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience supporting retail, e-commerce, healthcare, or high-volume order processing applications.

Familiarity with order lifecycle management, order fulfillment, inventory, and downstream system integrations.

Knowledge of ITIL processes, SLA management, and service management tools.

Experience with shell scripting, operational automation, and cloud monitoring tools.

Familiarity with CICD processes and application release management.
