Java Developer – Banking Applications

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Java Developer to support the development of secure, high-performance applications for the financial services sector. The ideal candidate will have strong backend development and enterprise application experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop secure Java-based banking applications.

• Build and maintain Spring Boot services and REST APIs.

• Implement data processing and transaction-related functionality.

• Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and QA teams.

• Troubleshoot production issues and ensure application reliability.

• Follow secure coding and software development best practices.

Required Skills

• 5–8 years of experience in Java software development.

• Strong knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, and REST APIs.

• Experience with SQL and relational databases.

• Knowledge of distributed systems and enterprise integration.

• Familiarity with automated testing and CI/CD.

• Understanding of application security and secure coding practices.

Preferred: Experience with financial services, Kafka, cloud technologies, and high-volume transaction systems.
