Job Description

Location: Glenfield, Leicester

Pay: £13.50 per hour

Shifts: Waking Nights - 8pm - 8am

What you’ll do

Join our existing team and expand your clinical skillset where you will be supporting a quadriplegic client in his own home.

This is a meaningful and rewarding role that is suited to a confident and friendly professional. The successful candidate will be caring, enthusiastic and dedicated to promoting the client's own independence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing personal care
  • Clinical interventions such as catheter care, bowel management and ventilation support (C-Pap)
  • Moving and handling
  • Meal preparation
  • Administering medication
  • Supporting daily routines and interests

What we’re looking for:

You don’t need complex care experience to apply for this role, as this is a fantastic opportunity to grow your skills and become part of a team that makes a real difference. You’ll receive full nurse-led training and ongoing clinical support to develop skills in various areas.

However experience in the following would make your application extremely advantageous:

- Experience with C-Pap ventilators

- Suctioning

- Catheter Care & Bowel Management

- Medication Administration

- Specialist Moving & Handling

- Caring for clients with challenging behaviour.
