Retail Associate

Value Chain (Going Going Gone!) is seeking a Retail Associate to deliver fast, friendly service in a high-volume, value-focused store. You'll greet customers, answer product questions, operate the POS, and handle cash accurately. Daily tasks include stocking shelves, organizing clearance and closeout merchandise, building eye-catching displays, and maintaining a clean, safe sales floor. You'll assist with inventory counts, ticketing, and price changes to keep turnover moving quickly. This role suits reliable team players who are comfortable on their feet, can lift merchandise, and thrive in a busy, customer-first retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide helpful, friendly assistance on the sales floor
• Operate the POS system to process sales, returns, and exchanges accurately
• Handle cash, cards, and other payments following store policies
• Stock, face, and replenish shelves and racks throughout the day
• Set up and maintain attractive merchandise displays, especially clearance items
• Support inventory counts, ticketing, and price changes for fast-moving goods
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of sales floor, fitting rooms, and backroom
• Follow safety and loss-prevention procedures to reduce shrink
• Assist with receiving shipments and moving merchandise to the sales floor
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily sales and operational goals
