The Role

  • Prepare and modify electrical drawings using advanced CAD software, including AutoCAD Electrical.
  • Develop detailed layouts for power distribution, relay panels, lighting, and control systems.
  • Assist engineers in creating essential diagrams and schematics, such as one-line diagrams and control schematics.
  • Coordinate build details with cross-functional teams including mechanical and structural departments.
  • Review vendor and shop drawings, integrating equipment specifications into the build process.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation and provide technical support throughout all project phases.

What You'll Need

  • A two-year technical degree in drafting or development is preferred.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical drafting or a related build/design field.
  • Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical and AutoCAD Vault.
  • Strong understanding of Product Data Management, Engineering Change Orders (ECOs), and product development processes.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and the ability to identify necessary project materials and information.
  • Demonstrated strong attention to detail and accuracy in all work.
