Job Description

We are seeking a Technical Product Owner to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in mobile and web product development, Agile/Scrum delivery, and requirements engineering and a proven ability to define, deliver, and launch compliant digital products that meet business outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Balance business objectives with engineering considerations to ensure quality digital products and operational workflows.


• Perform cost, benefit, and risk analysis across the product lifecycle and recommend solution alternatives.


• Collaborate with stakeholders and users to synthesize, articulate, and document business and system requirements.


• Conduct data analysis and translate business needs into technical specifications, acceptance criteria, UX requirements, and validation plans.


• Produce technical specifications for Engineering/IT to inform design, build, acquisition, or integration.


• Assist product and operations leaders with deployment coordination as needed.


• Contribute to project charters, plans, assignments, target dates, and supporting product documents.


• Apply systems engineering methodologies throughout the product and project lifecycle.


• Research, analyze, and validate complete and accurate business and systems requirements.


• Define clear scope boundaries for products and technical requirements and monitor estimates and schedules.


• Lead root cause analysis, identify problems, and propose solutions proactively.


• Interpret vended solution architectures and translate them into scope and technical requirements for integration.


• Support product implementation change management for products without formal implementation teams.


• Demonstrate leadership in a Product Owner capacity across cross-functional teams.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience delivering mobile app and web products, including in regulated environments.


• 3-5 years in a Product Owner or similar role with Agile Scrum teams.


• Working knowledge of product development architecture and SDLC.


• Proficiency with analytical tools and methods for product decision-making.


• Ability to write clear functional and technical requirements and acceptance criteria.


• Ability to prioritize work, mitigate roadblocks, and achieve sprint and release goals.


• Ability to manage changing and conflicting stakeholder needs with sound judgment.


• Strong oral and written communication skills with cross-functional teams.


• Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, engineering, technology, or health care and 3+ years of relevant technical experience, or 7+ years of relevant technical experience.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in healthcare, including EPIC APIs and digital health product launches.


• Experience creating new products and features from concept through market launch with user adoption.


• Background in rapid ideation, problem solving, and product definition.
