Music Retail Sales Supervisor

Music & Arts, a leading national music retailer and lesson provider, seeks a Sales Leader to drive retail performance in our student focused environment. This role oversees daily store sales, merchandising, and customer experience while supporting private lesson and rental growth. You will coach and motivate a sales team, build strong relationships with parents, students, and educators, and partner with school service reps to expand outreach. The Sales Leader analyzes sales metrics, executes promotions, ensures operational excellence, and models our collaborative, education driven culture to achieve revenue and service goals.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate store sales team to achieve revenue targets
• Drive instrument, accessory, and rental sales in a retail setting
• Support growth of private music lessons and educational services
• Build relationships with students, parents, and school educators
• Analyze sales reports and KPIs to identify growth opportunities
• Execute merchandising standards and in store promotions
• Ensure excellent customer service and issue resolution
• Coordinate with school service reps for community outreach
• Oversee daily store operations and compliance with policies
• Train and develop staff on products, systems, and sales techniques
