We're hiring for a highly regarded professional services firm with a significant presence in national security, known for its commitment to innovation and customer success. This organization is seeking a seasoned cybersecurity expert to lead critical initiatives.

The Role

• Design, implement, and maintain secure and scalable systems and infrastructure aligned with strategic mission and business needs.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive system architecture and design documentation, including network diagrams for cyber defense capabilities.
• Collaborate with engineering and cybersecurity teams to ensure solutions meet robust security, performance, and scalability standards.
• Manage and configure network devices and appliances from leading vendors.
• Administer and troubleshoot various operating systems and vendor appliance-based systems to ensure high availability and performance.
• Plan and execute system lifecycle tasks, including upgrades, patches, and migrations.

What You'll Need

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering, or 4+ years of additional experience in lieu of degree.
• 10+ years of experience in systems and/or cybersecurity engineering.
• Proven experience meeting security requirements within complex environments.
• Experience driving a security agenda across a large team and working with intricate systems and data flows.
• Proficiency in vulnerability management, including scanning, assessment, remediation, and reporting.
• Experience creating, maintaining, and communicating detailed IT and security documentation.
