Part Time Nanny – Dix Hills, NY
A family in Dix Hills, NY 11746 is looking for an engaging and patient part-time nanny to care for their 9-month-old daughter. This is a smoke-free home with two friendly cats.
Schedule:
- Tuesday: 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM
- Thursday: 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM
- Friday: 12:30 PM – 3:30 PM
- Total hours: ~9 hours per week (Start date target: ASAP)
Family Specifications:
- Welcoming home environment with two indoor cats
- Smoke-free home
- Looking for a caregiver who is warm, energetic, and easygoing to build a positive relationship with their infant
Responsibilities:
- Primary caregiving for an infant (feeding, changing diapers, bathing, and dressing as needed)
- Planning age-appropriate educational and developmental activities
- Preparing infant meals and snacks
- Light housekeeping and children’s laundry
- Optional: Taking the child on stroller walks in the neighborhood (TBD based on mutual comfort level)
Requirements:
- Proven experience caring for infants (around 9 months of age)
- Energetic, patient, and engaging caregiving approach
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred
Compensation:
- $20.00 – $28.00 per hour
