RESPONSIBILITIES
- Leads Line Centric Team to develop and execute a daily action plan to resolve losses, prevent recurrence, and track completion status.
- Enhance machine operators' skills and autonomy through development, coaching, and standards enforcement.
- Assessing asset performance and the correct situation where needed.
- Work with production planners to optimize production schedule and grade changes.
- Develop and implement line-specific action plans, standardize maintenance procedures, and recommend initiatives to boost efficiency and productivity.
- Coordinate resources to address potential work conflicts, review performance from the previous 24 hours and conduct daily performance analyses.
- Contribute to post-shutdown reviews by providing data analysis and proposing corrective actions during Line Centric Team (LCT) meetings.
- Support divisional goals in health and safety, productivity, quality, and continuous improvement, including 5S initiatives.
- Manage documentation by creating training materials for hourly employees and developing, updating, and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
Qualifications
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 5 years of project leadership experience with strong problem-solving skills
- College diploma or degree (Bachelor’s in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering)
- Proven ability to coach and mentor teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Excellent communication, follow-up, and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail, adaptable, autonomous, and effective in navigating complex situations.
- Experience with SAP and Power BI
- Six Sigma certification – Green or Black Belt
- Expertise in Lean Production System principles
