Electrical Hardware Design Engineer

Role Overview

We are looking for an Electrical Hardware Design Engineer with strong analog and high-speed digital hardware experience to support complex electronic systems and high-speed PCB redesign activities for semiconductor automated test equipment (ATE).

Must-Have Skills

• High-speed digital hardware design – 9 GHz+
• Strong analog hardware/electronics experience
• Signal Integrity (SI) and timing analysis
• High-speed digital design principles
• PCB schematic and layout review
• Experience with Altium, Cadence Allegro, Mentor Xpedition, or similar
• Hardware troubleshooting, validation, and debugging
• Experience working with PCB designers and cross-functional engineering teams
• Ability to quickly understand and support complex electronic systems
• Semiconductor / ATE experience is highly preferred

Key Responsibilities

• Provide electrical engineering support for high-speed digital PCB redesigns
• Review schematics and PCB layouts for performance and manufacturability
• Troubleshoot and validate complex hardware
• Support component obsolescence redesign and hardware updates
• Work closely with PCB, electrical, mechanical, and other engineering teams

Important: Candidates with only general analog experience are not sufficient. Strong high-speed digital experience, ideally 9 GHz+, is a key requirement.
