Job Description
Become the heartbeat of global defense as a Network Controller at Hill AFB in Ogden, Utah. As a Network Controller you will safeguard mission-critical Defense Information Systems Network (DISN) ervices, providing real-time incident management for warfighters and national leaders in a high-stakes, \(24 \times 7 \times 365\) operations environment Network Controller in Hill AFB, Utah onsite. The Mission Our team directly supports the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Network Controller in Hill AFB, Utah. We operate, monitor, and assure command and control of the DoDIN (Department of Defense Information Network). Your expertise ensures global situational awareness and seamless communication for the warfighter and coalition partners. Your High-Impact Responsibilities Real-Time Incident Triage: Monitor network events \(24\times7\times365\) across multiple tools and independently manage and prioritize technical ticket queues in Remedy. Fault Isolation & Analysis: Proactively analyze alarms, pinpoint the root cause of infrastructure faults, and identify failed network elements (hardware, software, circuits). Global Notifications: Act as a critical node of communication, notifying essential points of contact based on heightened awareness networks and incident locations.Problem Resolution: Develop and maintain a centralized, known error database detailing defects, failures, and effective repair actions or workarounds.Fault Correction: Execute repairs, replacements, and global equipment configurations to restore baseline operations.Global Situational Awareness: Provide top-tier support and critical oversight to ensure mission assurance across the enterprise infrastructure IT CYBERSECURITY SPECIALIST (NETWORK/INFOSEC) What You Bring to the Fight DoD Familiarity: A solid understanding of DoDIN, DISN services, and incident management Network Controller Job.Analytical Prowess: Sharp troubleshooting skills for fault isolation and testing across varied information technology architectures IT CYBERSECURITY SPECIALIST (NETWORK/INFOSEC) - Indeed.
