Sr. Business Systems Analyst

The Business Systems Analyst - Enterprise Asset Management System will serve as a liaison between business stakeholders, Information Management, and technology partners supporting an enterprise asset management system. This role will analyze business requirements, support system and integration design, coordinate testing, improve business processes, and facilitate stakeholder communication. The analyst will help ensure that asset management workflows, integrations, data, and reporting capabilities align with operational, financial, and strategic needs. This position will also support future initiatives involving predictive maintenance, asset analytics, smart infrastructure, and Digital Twin technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders, Information Management, and technology partners.


• Gather, document, validate, and prioritize business and system requirements.


• Map current and future-state business processes, workflows, and asset management procedures.


• Support the design and implementation of enterprise asset management system functionality.


• Analyze system integrations, APIs, data flows, and reporting requirements.


• Coordinate integration testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).


• Organize and facilitate end-user requirements, training, and acceptance testing sessions.


• Identify opportunities to improve asset management processes, workflows, data quality, and reporting.


• Support stakeholder communications, issue resolution, status reporting, and implementation coordination.


• Assist with data analysis, system validation, and reporting activities.


• Contribute to initiatives involving predictive maintenance, asset analytics, smart infrastructure, and Digital Twin technologies.


• Mentor or provide guidance to other analysts as needed.

Qualifications

Required:

• 6-10+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst, Business Analyst, or similar role


• IAM certification and domain expertise with ISO 5500


• Experience with Enterprise Asset Management (EAM), Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), or infrastructure asset management solutions.


• Understanding of business analysis, process mapping, requirements gathering, and workflow design.


• Familiarity with enterprise system integrations, APIs, and data management concepts.


• Experience supporting testing activities, including integration testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).


• Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and analytical skills.


• Proven experience organizing and facilitating teams of end users in requirements, training, and acceptance testing phases for enterprise wide, complex system implementations or integrations.


• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Data Analytics or a closely related field.

Preferred (Optional):

• Knowledge of GIS, BIM, SCADA, ERP, financial systems, or related operational technologies is desirable


• Strong data analysis skills, including SQL, reporting tools, or data visualization platforms


• Experience working in Agile or product-centric delivery models


• Other relevant certifications (CBAP, PMI-PBA, or similar)


• Experience mentoring or leading other analysts

Additional Details

The base range for this contract position is $65 - $75 / per hour, depending on experience. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires of this position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Qualified applicants with arrest or conviction records will be considered.
