RESPONSIBILITIES

Kforce has a client in Belleville, IL that is seeking a Project Manager - Business Process & Workflow Transformation.

About the Role

Our client, a large financial services organization, is seeking an experienced Project Manager IV with deep business process mapping and workflow design expertise to support a strategic supplier onboarding transformation initiative. This is not a traditional project management role focused primarily on schedules, status reporting, and project administration. The successful candidate will work across multiple business workstreams to understand a complex and fragmented current-state supplier onboarding process, document how work flows across the organization, identify gaps and inefficiencies, and help design more effective future-state workflows.

Duties

• Support approximately 5-6 interconnected workstreams contributing to a broader supplier onboarding transformation initiative
• Partner with business stakeholders to understand and document complex current-state processes, workflows, decision points, dependencies, controls, and approval paths
• Create detailed process maps and workflow documentation using Microsoft Visio
• Facilitate process-discovery discussions with stakeholders across multiple business functions
• Ask probing questions to uncover undocumented steps, gaps, dependencies, risks, and inconsistencies
• Challenge existing assumptions and help stakeholders distinguish between necessary process requirements and opportunities for simplification
• Identify process inefficiencies, bottlenecks, redundancies, and opportunities for improvement
• Help develop future-state workflows that improve efficiency while maintaining appropriate controls and governance

REQUIREMENTS:

• Approximately 5-7+ years of relevant experience in business process management, process improvement, workflow design, project/program management, operational excellence, or a closely related area
• Advanced Microsoft Visio skills, with demonstrated experience creating detailed business process maps and workflow documentation
• Strong experience analyzing, documenting, and improving complex business processes
• Demonstrated experience developing current-state and future-state process flows
• Strong understanding of process and workflow design, including dependencies, decision points, handoffs, approvals, and controls
• Experience identifying process gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for optimization
• Understanding of internal controls, risk considerations, governance, and the role controls play within business processes
• Strong stakeholder management and facilitation skills, including the ability to gather information from multiple business areas
• Ability to ask effective clarifying questions, challenge assumptions professionally, and uncover information that may not initially be documented or understood
• Experience working with senior and executive-level stakeholders
• Ability to organize and support multiple concurrent workstreams in a complex environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Lean, Six Sigma, Business Process Management (BPM), process improvement, or related certification
• Banking or financial services industry experience
• Experience with supplier, vendor, or third-party onboarding processes
• Experience supporting vendor or third-party onboarding within a bank or other regulated financial institution
• Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) or Vendor Risk Management experience
• Experience with supplier governance, sourcing, procurement, or related operational processes
• Experience designing processes that scale based on vendor, product, service, or risk complexity

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
