Job Summary**
The DC Team Leader is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the daily operations of a designated team within the Albert Lea Distribution Center, ensuring efficient and accurate processing of goods to meet operational goals and customer expectations.
Job Responsibilities**
* Supervise, train, and motivate a team of distribution center associates, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
* Allocate tasks and prioritize work assignments to optimize efficiency and meet production targets.
* Monitor team performance, provide constructive feedback, and conduct performance reviews.
* Ensure adherence to all safety protocols, company policies, and quality standards.
* Troubleshoot operational issues and implement corrective actions as needed.
* Maintain accurate records of inventory, shipments, and team activities.
* Collaborate with other team leaders and management to streamline processes and improve overall DC operations.
* Operate various material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
* Assist with inventory control, cycle counting, and physical inventory.
* Communicate effectively with associates, supervisors, and other departments.
Job Qualifications**
* High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field preferred.
* 2+ years of experience in a distribution center or warehouse environment.
* 1+ year of experience in a leadership or supervisory role.
* Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team.
* Strong organizational and time management skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
* Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office.
* Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and stand/walk for extended periods.
* Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification within a specified timeframe.
* Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in a distribution warehouse environment.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
Fortune Brands believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is Hiring Pay Range: $52,050 USD - $64,064 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based sales incentive plan.
