The Role

• Manage the nursing schedule to ensure optimal patient care.
• Collaborate with nursing leaders to identify staffing improvements.
• Address and report any issues or concerns with the nursing schedule to supervisors.
• Ensure compliance of employee files with regulatory and accreditation standards.
• Schedule and coordinate educational opportunities for nursing staff.
• Distribute nursing schedules promptly and effectively.

What You'll Need

• High school education or equivalent.
• Experience in staffing or scheduling, preferably within a hospital setting.
• Excellent organizational and clerical skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
• Strong communication and advisory skills.
