Cyber Training Analyst - 174937 with Security Clearance

• Active TS/SCI clearance needed for consideration, as well as willingness to sit for a CI Polygraph* Zachary Piper Solutions is currently seeking a Cybersecurity Training Analyst to support Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) and Department of Defense Cyber Crime Center (DCDC) initiatives based in Fort Meade, MD .

This position is a full-time role that will be fully onsite . This position is critical to maintaining and advancing cyber workforce readiness across the DoD enterprise by developing, analyzing, and enhancing cybersecurity training programs, exercises, and workforce certification initiatives. As a Cybersecurity Training Analyst , you will play a pivotal role in cyber training development, workforce readiness assessments, curriculum management, and joint cyber exercise support within a mission-critical environment supporting DoD Cyber Operations Forces.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide cyber technical research and analysis to define cyber training requirements, procedures, and future workforce development strategies supporting DCDC and DoD cyber missions.
• Support the planning, management, execution, and integration of cyber training programs, including annual curriculum reviews and updates.
• Develop and refine cyber training curricula, performance objectives, training plans, certification standards, exercise objectives, and evaluation criteria.
• Support continuous improvement and standardization efforts across training programs based on evolving threats, emerging technologies, and future capability requirements.
• Maintain DCDC training databases and ensure the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of workforce training records.
• Identify, track, and resolve issues affecting training activities, exercises, and daily operational support.
• Gather and analyze inputs from cyberspace operations elements to support mission-essential task proficiency and readiness objectives.
• Conduct research, analysis, and recommendations supporting command training requirements, readiness assessments, and after-action review processes.
• Develop and support training programs ranging from foundational to expert-level cyber operations instruction for DoD Cyber Operations Forces.
• Create training materials and facilitate cybersecurity awareness initiatives in accordance with DoD Instruction 8140 and DoD Manual 8570 requirements.
• Review and provide recommendations for System Security Plan updates supporting Certification and Accreditation activities for DoD and Intelligence Community systems.
• Develop and manage metrics, reports, and dashboards supporting Information Assurance training compliance and Workforce Improvement Program initiatives.
• Assist with workforce certification tracking, compliance reporting, and readiness assessments.
• Coordinate with stakeholders across the Joint Training System to support cyber exercise planning and execution activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Information Assurance, Education, or a related field, with 4 to 8 years of relevant experience. Additional related experience may be substituted for a degree.
• Active TS/SCI Clearance and eligible for a Counterintelligence (CI) Polygraph .
• Current IAT Level II Certification such as Security+, CySA+, CND, GSEC, SSCP, or GICSP.
• Strong knowledge of all four phases of the Joint Training System (JTS) :

• Experience with Joint Training System programs of record:
• DRRS
• JTIMS
• JLLIS
• Familiarity with the Joint Planning Process (JOPP) and Joint Event Life Cycle (JELC) for joint training exercise planning.
• Experience developing curriculum, training materials, and workforce readiness initiatives.
• Ability to travel occasionally in support of training and exercise development events.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and stakeholder engagement skills.

Compensation Includes

• Salary Range: $160,000 - $175,000 (depending on experience)
