Job Title: Cloud Architect- Google Cloud Platform certified

Location: Ford, MI, USA (Onsite) 

Years of Experience: 7-10 Years

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cloud Architect with a strong focus on Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform). The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of cloud architecture principles and best practices, with a proven track record of designing and implementing scalable, secure, and efficient cloud solutions. This role requires a strategic thinker who can collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive cloud initiatives and optimize cloud resources.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement cloud architecture solutions on Google Cloud Platform that meet business requirements.
  • Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to ensure seamless integration of cloud services.
  • Conduct cloud readiness assessments and provide recommendations for cloud migration strategies.
  • Establish best practices for cloud governance, security, and compliance.
  • Monitor and optimize cloud performance, cost, and resource utilization.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members.
  • Stay updated with the latest cloud technologies and trends, particularly within the Google Cloud ecosystem.
  • Document architecture designs, processes, and procedures for future reference.

Mandatory Skills:

  • Strong knowledge and experience as a Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect.
  • Proficiency in designing and deploying cloud-native applications and services on Google Cloud Platform.
  • Experience with cloud security best practices and compliance frameworks.
  • Solid understanding of networking, storage, and compute services in Google Cloud Platform.
  • Ability to analyze and optimize cloud costs and performance.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with containerization technologies such as Kubernetes and Docker.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Knowledge of other cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) is a plus.
  • Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 7-10 years of experience in cloud architecture and design.
  • Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect certification is mandatory.
  • Proven experience in leading cloud migration projects.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
