Supply Chain Director 5

The Director, Global Supply Chain Operations Execution is an individual contributor role focused on driving day-to-day supply chain execution across Emerson T&M’s complex electronics manufacturing environment. This role supports reliable delivery performance, disciplined planning, effective inventory control, supplier readiness, and cross-functional issue resolution across global operations. The position provides hands-on exposure to global supply chain leadership through direct involvement in operational planning, execution governance, performance management, and coordination with manufacturing, procurement, S&OP, and regional teams. This position interfaces with Senior Executive Leadership daily and is critical to keeping all levels of the organization aligned and informed. 

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Strongly influence organizations across entire organization including manufacturing, procurement, business, and customer facing. 
• Extremely important to influence at the highest executive leadership level of the organization, VP+ level. 
• Operational Execution Leadership: Lead and support cross-functional supply chain execution activities that ensure materials, plans, priorities, and resources are aligned to meet customer demand and manufacturing commitments.
• Critical informed decision making to ensure operational objectives are met.
• Supply Chain Expertise: Apply knowledge of electronics manufacturing supply chains, including component sourcing, production planning, supplier coordination, and inventory management, to support consistent operational performance.
• Planning and Schedule Discipline: Support disciplined planning processes, clear operating rhythms, and timely issue escalation to help plants and regional teams execute against committed schedules.
• Systems and Execution Support: Use Oracle EBS, Kinaxis, and other supply chain tools to monitor supply, demand, material availability, and execution status. Partner with IT and business teams to ensure system data supports operational decision-making.
• Inventory Management: Monitor inventory position, shortages, excess, aging inventory, and material availability to support production continuity, customer delivery, and meet working capital objectives.
• Operational Metrics and Reporting: Prepare and analyze supply chain KPIs, identify execution gaps, and communicate risks, trade-offs, and required actions to leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Cross-Functional Orchestration: Partner with Manufacturing, Procurement, S&OP, Customer Operations, and regional teams in Hungary and Malaysia to resolve constraints and execute supply plans to meet operational objectives.
• Risk Management and Recovery: Support daily and weekly risk reviews, shortage resolution, supplier follow-up, allocation decisions, and recovery plans to protect customer commitments and production schedules.

For This Role, You Will Need:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, or related field.
• 15+ years of experience in supply chain or operations, with a strong preference for electronics or semiconductor manufacturing environments and direct exposure to planning, materials, inventory, or manufacturing execution.
• Hands-on experience using ERP/MRP systems (Oracle EBS preferred) and advanced supply chain planning tools (Kinaxis or similar) to support material planning, supply visibility, and execution management.
• Demonstrated ability to manage supply chain priorities, resolve operational constraints, and coordinate action across manufacturing, procurement, planning, and customer-facing teams.
• Strong analytical, communication, escalation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate supply chain data into clear operating actions.
• Proven ability to work effectively in a global, matrixed organization.
• Willingness to travel as needed and collaborate across time zones. 
• Experience and proven track record being key driver responsible for execution in high pressure, fast paced environment. 
• Ability to communicate and influence at senior executive level while at the same time having ability to operate at the detailed level to drive execution and achieve results.
