Job Description

Job Title: Technical Product Owner – HL7 FHIR & CMS Interoperability

Location: Remote

Duration: Long-Term Contract

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Technical Product Owner with strong expertise in HL7 FHIR, CMS Interoperability, and EMR/EHR Integrations. The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders and engineering teams to define product requirements, manage Agile backlogs, and deliver healthcare interoperability solutions that comply with CMS regulations.

Required Skills:

  • 3+ years of experience as a Technical Product Owner or similar role
  • Strong knowledge of HL7 FHIR, Healthcare Interoperability, and EMR/EHR integrations
  • Experience with CMS-0057-F, CMS Patient Access API, and Prior Authorization regulations
  • Hands-on experience with REST APIs and Agile/Scrum methodologies
  • Healthcare payer domain experience is highly preferred
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Skills:

  • HL7 FHIR Certification
  • Experience with AWS or Azure
  • Knowledge of HIPAA, HL7 v2, CCDA, USCDI, and healthcare terminologies (SNOMED, LOINC, CPT)
