Location: Menlo Park, CA

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Golang Developer with 7–8 years of software development experience to join our team in Menlo Park, CA. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Go/Golang, backend development, microservices, REST APIs, and cloud technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Golang.
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Develop high-performance, reliable, and secure backend services.
• Work with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or similar.
• Integrate applications with internal and external systems.
• Implement unit testing, integration testing, and code quality standards.
• Troubleshoot production issues and optimize application performance.
• Collaborate with architects, developers, QA engineers, DevOps teams, and business stakeholders.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical design discussions.
• Work in an Agile/Scrum development environment.

Required Skills:

• 7–8 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Golang/Go.
• Strong knowledge of Go routines, channels, concurrency, and memory management.
• Experience developing REST APIs and microservices.
• Strong understanding of JSON, HTTP, API design, and distributed systems.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Experience with Git and CI/CD practices.
• Good understanding of Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
