Job Title: SAP ILM Consultant
Duration: Long Term
Location: Remote
Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced SAP Information Lifecycle Management (ILM) Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with SAP ILM, data archiving, data retention management and data privacy compliance. The consultant will be responsible for implementing and supporting SAP ILM solutions to manage the lifecycle of business data, optimize database growth, support regulatory compliance, and ensure secure data retention and destruction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement, configure and support SAP Information Lifecycle Management (ILM) solutions.
- Design and implement data retention, archiving, and data destruction strategies based on business and regulatory requirements.
- Configure and manage SAP ILM policies, retention rules, and residence rules.
- Work with SAP Data Archiving, including archiving objects, archiving sessions, and archive administration.
- Implement SAP ILM Retention Management and support data lifecycle processes.
- Configure and support SAP ILM Store and integration with external storage repositories, where applicable.
- Support SAP S/4HANA and SAP ECC data archiving and retention requirements.
- Support SAP ILM implementation, migration, upgrades, and system conversion projects.
- Coordinate with security, basis, functional, and compliance teams to ensure effective implementation of data retention policies.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in SAP, with relevant experience in SAP ILM and data lifecycle management.
- Hands-on experience implementing or supporting SAP Information Lifecycle Management.
- Strong understanding of SAP Data Archiving and SAP ILM Retention Management.
- Experience with SAP ILM policies, retention rules, residence rules, and data destruction.
- Knowledge of SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA environments.
- Experience with SAP Archive Development Kit (ADK) and archiving objects.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Relevant SAP certifications or specialized SAP ILM training are preferred.
