Job Description

Healthcare IT Leaders is seeking a driven, relationship-focused Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our organization. This position is responsible for identifying, engaging, evaluating, and placing highly qualified healthcare IT professionals across our client portfolio.

The ideal candidate combines strong recruiting fundamentals with a consultative approach to candidate relationships. This individual will work closely with Talent Acquisition and Human Resource leadership, and Engagement teams to understand client needs, develop effective sourcing strategies, build talent pipelines, and move qualified candidates efficiently through the hiring process.

Success in this role requires a sense of urgency, strong communication skills, attention to detail, comfort working in a performance-driven environment, and the ability to build trusted relationships with both candidates and internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the full recruiting lifecycle, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, candidate presentation, offer support, and transition to onboarding.
  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies to identify qualified candidates for healthcare IT consulting and staffing opportunities.
  • Build and maintain pipelines of active and passive candidates across targeted skill sets and technology areas.
  • Conduct thorough candidate interviews to evaluate technical experience, professional background, communication skills, career objectives, compensation expectations, and overall alignment with client requirements.
  • Partner closely with Talent Acquisition Leaders, Engagement team, and Site Leads to understand client needs, position requirements, priorities, timelines, and candidate profiles.
  • Present qualified candidates who closely align with the requirements of each opportunity.
  • Maintain consistent communication with candidates throughout the recruiting and interview process to create a professional and transparent candidate experience.
  • Maintain accurate and timely candidate, activity, and pipeline information within the applicant tracking system.
  • Maintain awareness of healthcare IT hiring trends, talent availability, compensation expectations, and competitive market conditions.
  • Consistently achieve individual and team KPI goals, including candidate submissions, interviews, placements, etc.

Ability to independently manage candidates from initial sourcing and outreach through qualification, interview, offer, and onboarding.

Candidate Sourcing & Pipeline Development

Demonstrated ability to identify and engage both active and passive candidates using multiple sourcing channels, professional networks, referrals, and recruiting technology.

Candidate Assessment

Ability to conduct effective interviews, understand candidate experience, identify transferable skills, and determine alignment between the candidate and client opportunity.

Relationship Management

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to establish credibility and develop long-term relationships with candidates, consultants, hiring stakeholders, and internal partners.

Communication

Clear, professional, and consistent written and verbal communication with candidates and internal stakeholders.

Organization & Execution

Ability to manage multiple priorities, candidates, and open positions while maintaining accuracy, responsiveness, and appropriate follow-through.

Accountability & Results Orientation

Comfort working within measurable performance expectations and taking ownership of recruiting activity, candidate quality, and outcomes.

Adaptability

Ability to adjust recruiting strategies and priorities as client demand, technology needs, and market conditions change.



Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • 3+ years of recruiting, talent acquisition, staffing, or related experience preferred.
  • Experience recruiting technical, professional, consulting, or other specialized talent strongly preferred.
  • Staffing agency or professional services recruiting experience is a plus.
  • Healthcare IT recruiting experience is preferred but not required.
  • Demonstrated experience proactively sourcing and engaging passive candidates.
  • Experience working with applicant tracking systems, recruiting platforms, and candidate databases.
  • Strong interviewing, relationship-building, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team-oriented environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate successfully in a fast-paced, metrics-driven organization.
