 JOB DESCRIPTION

 

Key Responsibilities

  • The Sr. Manager, Sales and HR Applications is a professional in charge of the company's SaaS based HR and AFA related applications as well as the SAP Hybris online Dealer portals (programs and projects).
  • Responsibilities is to monitor and control projects from inception to completion.
  • Must be proficient in project management and be able to communicate directly with the business team to understand their processes and suggest technology solutions.
  • The individual will work closely with the CIO to propose improvements to IT policies and procedures as well as report progress on projects assigned.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

1.            An ability to utilize best practice Project Management principles and software development methodologies to complete a variety of applications development, deployment, integration activities with our SAP ERP platform as well as other off-the-shelf packaged and cloud-based partner solutions.

2.            Manage assigned staff and vendor resources to develop and execute a variety of applications development, deployment and integration activities with our SAP ERP platform as well as other off-the-shelf packaged and cloud-based partner solutions.

3.            Obtain approval from project sponsor(s) and/or primary stakeholder(s) and develop project cost estimations, monitor progress and control the project scope, priorities, budget and schedule.

4.            Advise management on the most appropriate applications to support the business goals.

QUALIFICATIONS

1.            Demonstrated knowledge of:

    1. Project Management Proficiency – (PMP or PMI-ACP certification a plus)
    2. Project planning software (Microsoft Project)
    3. Software development methodologies (Agile)
    4. Business Process Analysis Methodology

2.            Strong understanding of project management, application development and quality assurance testing lifecycles application development and 3rd party application implementations.

3.            Hybris/eCommerce Hana Enterprise Cloud (HEC) or on-premises edition

4.            First level management experience with an applications development project and production support team.

5.            24x7 on call support management

6.            Supervise: Responsibilities include interviewing and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding, disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

7.            Demonstrated decision making and presentation skills

8.            Business process Re-engineering or Lean six-sigma experience

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree from a four-year institution in computer science, mathematics, physics or equivalent.  A minimum of seven (7) years of increasingly responsible information technology experience.
