Schlosser / Metallbauer als Monteur | Weinheim bei Mannheim, Germany | On-site A leading European energy service provider is seeking a skilled Metalworker/Fitter to join their High Voltage/Substations division. This role is instrumental in modernizing and constructing substations, contributing directly to the energy transition and climate protection goals across Southwest Germany. The Role • Assemble steel structures for medium, high, and extra-high voltage substations (up to 380kV). • Install high and medium voltage equipment and electrical systems, including mounting components like high-voltage clamps and insulators. • Perform assembly and disassembly of bolted and pressed connections, along with pipe and cable installations. • Update and revise technical drawings by marking changes. What You'll Need • Completed vocational training as a metalworker, industrial mechanic, construction mechanic, plant mechanic, or a comparable qualification. • Previous experience in metalworking, with a background in construction, mechanical/plant engineering, energy technology, or the manufacturing industry. • Ideally, experience working safely with electrical systems. • A valid driver's license (Class B) and a willingness to travel to and from project sites with your own vehicle. • Readiness for regular on-site assignments throughout Southwest Germany, including overnight stays. • Good German language skills and a proactive, motivated work attitude.
