FAIR is looking for an experienced Principal / Solution Architect - SAP BTP to lead the design and delivery of innovative SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) solutions for our clients.

In this role, you'll combine deep technical expertise with strategic solution architecture, helping customers maximise the value of SAP BTP across application development, integration, analytics, automation, and AI. You'll work closely with customers, delivery teams, and leadership to shape solution strategies, provide technical direction, and drive successful project outcomes.

As a trusted advisor, you'll play a key role in presales, solution design, architecture governance, and mentoring consultants while contributing to the growth of FAIR's SAP BTP practice.

About the role:

• Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of SAP BTP solutions across complex enterprise engagements
  
• Design scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions covering application development, integration, extension, analytics, automation, and AI capabilities within SAP BTP
  
• Act as the technical authority for SAP BTP, providing architectural guidance to delivery teams throughout the project lifecycle
  
• Collaborate with clients to understand business objectives and translate them into practical, future-ready solution architectures
  
• Design and develop applications using SAP BTP technologies including SAP CAP, SAP HANA Cloud, SAP Fiori, SAP Build, SAP Integration Suite, SAP Cloud Integration (CPI), and related services
  
• Design enterprise integration solutions connecting SAP and non-SAP applications using SAP Integration Suite, APIs, events, messaging, and hybrid integration patterns
  
• Provide architectural guidance across the broader SAP BTP portfolio, including AI, Analytics, Automation, Integration, Extension Suite, and Data & Analytics capabilities
  
• Define development standards, architecture principles, security guidelines, and best practices across SAP BTP projects.
  
• Review solution designs and code to ensure quality, scalability, performance, and maintainability
  
• Support presales activities including customer workshops, solution demonstrations, technical proposals, effort estimations, and RFP responses
  
• Provide technical leadership to project teams, mentoring consultants and supporting capability development across the BTP practice
  
• Stay current with SAP's evolving BTP roadmap and emerging technologies, recommending innovative solutions for clients
  

About you:

• 8+ years of SAP consulting and solution delivery experience, including at least 5 years specialising in SAP BTP
  
• Proven experience as a Solution Architect, Principal Consultant, or Technical Architect delivering enterprise-scale SAP BTP solutions
  
• Deep expertise in both SAP BTP Application Development and SAP Integration Suite, with the ability to architect end-to-end enterprise solutions
  
• Strong understanding of the wider SAP BTP portfolio, including AI, Analytics, Automation, Extension Suite, Data & Analytics, and Integration capabilities
  
• Hands-on development experience with SAP CAP, SAP Fiori, SAP HANA Cloud, SAP Build, SAP Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP), and BTP extension development
  
• Strong expertise in SAP Integration Suite, Cloud Integration (CPI), API Management, Event Mesh, Open Connectors, and hybrid integration architectures
  
• Strong understanding of cloud-native architecture, microservices, APIs, event-driven integration, and modern application design principles
  
• Experience designing secure, scalable, and high-performing enterprise applications and integrations
  
• Strong understanding of Agile delivery methodologies, DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and software development best practices
  
• Excellent stakeholder management and client consulting skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and business audiences
  
• Proven experience leading technical teams, mentoring consultants, and driving technical excellence
  
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate evolving technologies and align solutions to business outcomes
  

Desired Skills:

• Experience with SAP AI Core, SAP Joule, SAP Build Process Automation, SAP Analytics Cloud, or SAP Datasphere
  
• Experience integrating SAP solutions with hyperscalers such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform
  
• Experience across SAP S/4HANA, SAP ERP, SAP CX, or other SAP cloud solutions
  
• SAP BTP Solution Architect or related SAP certifications
  
• Experience contributing to presales, practice development, and strategic customer engagements
