Position Overview

KayDev Technology is seeking an experienced Java Developer for a 30-month opportunity with New York State Information Technology Services in Albany, NY.

The position requires extensive experience with enterprise Java development in an IBM environment, including Rational Application Developer, WebSphere Application Server, IBM DB2, XML schemas and IBM MQSeries.

Required Qualifications

Candidates must have:

• At least 84 months of experience with J2EE technologies, including EJB, JDBC, JSP and XML.
• At least 84 months of Java programming experience in an IBM development environment using IBM Rational Application Developer (RAD), with applications deployed to IBM WebSphere Application Server (WAS).
• At least 84 months of IBM DB2 experience, including working with DB2 databases and XML schemas involving schema definition, querying and automated generation.
• At least 60 months of experience performing application-performance tuning involving database interactions.
• At least 60 months of experience with IBM MQSeries.
• At least 60 months of experience within an organization performing technical design, development, system maintenance and end-user support.
