Cybersecurity Operations Team Lead with Security Clearance

Cybersecurity Operations Team Lead PKH Enterprises is seeking a highly qualified professional to join our team in support of an exciting opportunity with a federal client. This position is contingent upon contract award and candidate selection is subject to the successful award of the contract to PKH Enterprises.
The Cybersecurity Operations Team Lead oversees day-to-day Security Operations Center (SOC) and cyber defense activities supporting a federal defense client. The position leads cybersecurity analysts and responders responsible for monitoring, detection, incident response, and cyber defense operations.
Work Location

• Primary duty location: Scott Air Force Base, Illinois
• Position may require after-hours support, incident response coordination, and participation in 24/7 operational activities. Security Clearance
• Active TS/SCI clearance required.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead cybersecurity operations personnel supporting defensive cyber operations.
• Oversee cyber incident investigations and response activities.
• Coordinate operational activities across cybersecurity teams.
• Monitor and improve SOC performance and readiness.
• Develop operational procedures and workflows.
• Support mission assurance and cyber defense initiatives.
• Brief Government leadership on significant incidents and operational status.
• Coordinate with Cyber Protection Teams (CPTs), intelligence personnel, and mission partners.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of IA or Cybersecurity experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in one or more of the following: o Incident response o Threat analysis o Analytic development o Cybersecurity architecture o Cybersecurity engineering
• Experience supporting enterprise security operations.
• Knowledge of Zero Trust principles and cloud security architectures.
• Demonstrated supervisory or team leadership experience.
