Job Description
We are seeking an experienced WMOS Infrastructure Support Consultant with strong hands-on expertise in Manhattan WMOS/WMS production support and system administration. This role will be responsible for maintaining the stability, performance, and availability of WMS environments while supporting application servers, Linux/Unix systems, SQL troubleshooting, scheduled jobs, integrations, deployments, and warehouse operations.
The consultant will collaborate closely with WMS Operations, DCS, Infrastructure, and Manhattan support teams to diagnose issues, implement fixes, support deployments, and ensure uninterrupted warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities
Execute WMS application restarts following DCS configuration updates, system maintenance, and planned activities.
Deploy and maintain Jasper reports, label files, configuration packages, and other application artifacts across WMS application nodes.
Perform SDN configuration updates and create/manage ADC alerts through the Manhattan Management Console.
Maintain and administer SCI report schedules through the IBM Cognos SCI portal.
Enable application diagnostic and troubleshooting logs through CLI utilities, collect relevant log files, and raise support cases through the Manhattan THRU portal.
Monitor WMS application nodes for stalled or hung processes, including PkCancelS, PkShipWaveS, and PkInvoiceS, and take appropriate corrective or escalation actions.
Review and interpret application and system logs to diagnose UI issues, transaction failures, application errors, and performance-related incidents.
Configure and maintain Manhattan Billing connectivity between WMS application environments and billing servers.
Create, modify, monitor, and troubleshoot cron jobs and scheduled processes supporting task release, batch processing, Inv605, invoicing, and other operational activities.
Configure and validate MHE endpoints, including endpoint setup, DIF logging, failover testing, and load-balancer configuration.
Diagnose and resolve PIX transaction issues, Inv605 processing failures, and problems associated with PIX Schedule Export validation.
Troubleshoot MIP, MDA, and WM application loading issues encountered during application builds, deployments, and environment updates.
Investigate wave creation and allocation failures by analyzing application logs and executing SQL queries to identify impacted orders, items, or transactions.
Coordinate with DCS teams when database or transactional data corrections are required and provide detailed findings to support remediation.
Develop shell scripts and automation utilities to streamline recurring environment-support activities, including verification/validation checks, automated application restarts, and operational monitoring.
Participate in incident resolution, root-cause analysis, environment maintenance, deployments, and production support activities.
Maintain clear communication with technical teams, business stakeholders, and external Manhattan support resources throughout
